Our Trainers

We are so grateful to have Chris, Rhiannon and Sarah leading us though our retreat workshops this year. Chris, Rhiannon and Sarah have incredible reputations within the Yoga and Circus industry and we are so thankful to have them with us for the week. The team will be working together to create a workshop schedule that is dynamic, fun and catered to your individual handstand, partner acrobatics and yoga goals.

 
 

Sarah Yassin

Sarah is an Egyptian Yoga Teacher certified from YogaWorks school in California, AcroYoga International L2 Teacher, Therapeutic Flying and Thai Massage teacher, AcroYoga Foundational Course licensed facilitator, AirYoga L2 teacher, Gong meditation facilitator, an aspiring abstract artist and ecstatic dancer. She got her bachelor's degree in Media, Philosophy, Theatre and the performing artsfrom the American University in Cairo.

After teaching yoga in Egypt for 4 years, opening her own yoga studio and establishing the AcroYoga Egyptian community, life took her to the beautiful Bali, Indonesia, where she is now happily organizing and leading retreats, teaching workshops andenjoying the island life. She has a passion forbeing upside down and connecting with people through movement and play.

Rhiannon Cave-Walker

Rhiannon began her circus training in the hippy hills behind Byron Bay, Australia. After being exposed to circus at a professional level in Europe, she went on to develop her performance ability, specialising in hand balancing and pair acrobatics at DOCH (Dans och Cirkus Hogskolan) in Stockholm Sweden.

For a number of years Rhiannon was a member of the Circus ensemble Gravity & Other Myths. She also co-directed and performed in the multi-disciplinary Show 'Cadence' and performed across the globe as both a solo and duo artist. She is currently travelling the world creating & performing in her own circus company Fauna.

 

Chris Carlos
Starting his career in the theatre and fire dancing world, Chris’ journey then took him to the National Institute of Circus Arts where he specialised in Russian bar. Alongside performing internationally as an independent artist, Chris also facilitates a number circus events and festivals for the Australian community including; The Australian Partner Acrobatics Convention and Spin Circus Festival. Although Chris identifies as an ‘all-rounder’ in circus skills, his passion lies with hand to hand and is incredibly excited to be joining us in Bali.
